Our Christmas Tree

Since we're living in a 2 bedroom apartment until our new home is built, I knew a large tree would not work. So I brought the small pre-lighted tree I purchased years ago from Michael's when Casey (our male sheltie) was a just a puppy. It was perfect then and most definitely perfect now. This Christmas tree is also called Casey's Tree.

Family of Deer

I captured these photos on September 26, 2008 of a family of deer that were feeding in the grassy island located across the street from the lot our new home is being built on. We had taken my Mom to see the lot and there they were -- just minding their own business. However, notice the one deer just staring at us sitting in the car with the window rolled down. After a few seconds of feeling uneasy, they scampered into the woods. A few of God's creatures welcoming us to the neighborhood. LOL!

Our DEER Visitor

I captured this photo of a deer looking at my DH and I. The deer was located in the wooded area behind our lot we recently purchased. Our home is to be delivered on December 29, 2008 and construction will then begin. Kind of makes you wonder what is this deer thinking. Hmmmm..... new neighbors! Whatever -- boring.... and headed for the wooded area. Just a thought.

I want to take this time to wish all of you a very Happy New Year. May the new year bring joy, good health, prosperity and many blessings to everybody. I know we are all hoping 2009 will bring us Change -- change for the better to our economy, housing market, employment, and financial markets. So let's raise our glasses -- here's to all of you. Blog Newbie

Hi everyone. As you can tell, I'm a newbie to blogging. I've thought about creating a blog for quite some time and I finally decided it's time to get my feet wet! So please bear with me.

I look forward to sharing my creative designs and layouts, as I'm a Creative Member for several designers or digital scrapbooking websites. I look forward to hearing what you have to say about them (all in good taste of course).

I also look forward to sharing my life and blessings (good and bad). I love taking photos, so I'll even share those as well.
