All About Me

This is a digital layout I created using "Blessed Be" by Donna Duncombe Designs @ Nuts 4 Digi for the Nuts 4 Digi October 2009 About Me Challenge. You can view this lovely kit by clicking the link http://tinyurl.com/d3zqtg I also used "Frame Clusters" by Donna Duncombe Designs and you can view this product by clicking the link http://tinyurl.com/ddywn5 We were to paint a self portrait in words and to describe yourself as you are right now. I had fun with this one and I hope you'll agree. I took a photo of myself looking into the bathroom mirror. I applied the "glowing edges" filter and tweaked the saturation and lighting. I was very happy with the results.

I Miss You Mom - Digital Card

My loving mom lost her battle of Metastatic Colon Cancer on 08/03/09. She had lived with my husband and I since January 2004. I was her caregiver, but she always referred to me as her angel, ma ma and daughter. She is now my angel looking down from up above. I miss her so very much and to this day can't believe is no longer here. I have many sad moments, but know with the grace of God I'll be fine in due time.

Mourning Doves - digital layout

Layouts created using "Big Bang Kit" by Caroline B. at Nuts 4 Digi. We had a family of Mourning Doves that nested in one of my geranium hanging plants on our front porch. It was amazing to see how trusting they were when we sat on the porch, going in and out the front door, and even when I approached the plant and talked to them. Very cute.
